  • You'll study history, anatomy, sequencing and advanced asana alignment, which will increase your proficiency as a teacher and student.

Examine the Functional Anatomy of

Yoga & Assisting

  • Review anatomy, learn anatomical patterns in yoga and how to assist and stabilize students in foundational through advanced asanas.

Study Philosophies of Sequencing

  • Explore the principles of sequencing beginner, intermediate, advanced, gentle and power classes. Study sequencing leading to a peak pose, sequencing asana families, and more.
  • Combine anatomy & sequencing education to create and adapt yoga classes for your students

  • From the first training session, you'll start to shape unique sequences designed from the foundation of anatomy and sequencing philosophy learned in each module. We'll create an opening sequence in module 1 and move through each module with a new focus (warm-up, twists, back bends, abdominals, arm balances, hip openers, cool-down, etc.)

Explore Chakras, Energy Bodies

& Pranayama

  • Enjoy in-depth study of each chakra (an overview, plus one chakra focus in the following modules), nadis, aura and kosha review.
  • Learn to practice and teach nadi shodahna, kapalbhati, surya bhedana, bhamari, sitali, and more pranayama practices.
